In 2013, I searched for online study/reflection resources for the Sunday Mass readings. Among other things, Google listed a CAF thread on the subject. I ended up hanging out here regularly, getting to know some of the members, and learning a lot about Catholicism and the Catholic faith. I’m very glad I came!

After I left CatholicMatch I wished to find another forum, searched and found this one for which I am very grateful .it helped me heal after a broken marriage talking with so many wonderful people and being prayed for, praying for others .And again through petitioning annulment.
I turned to this place again for prayers and support when a couple of my kids had some huge issues going on …and with people’s help we pulled through 😊
God bless everyone on this site,I will pray for you and those that might read but haven’t joined :pray:My guardian angel will remind Jesus whom each of you are .

[so long to all. I doubt I’ll be back after today. The walls are crumbling, it takes forever to load, and I’m not turning security down on my machine far enough to deal with the intrusive tracking and ad pushing. Plus, my password has stopped working, and I can’t log in in a private window.]

During a discussion with a Calvinist on another website, I found I needed to fill in a serious gap in my knowledge. A Google search introduced me to Catholic Answers, where I posted my question on Ask An Apologist and then, just looking around, I discovered the forums as well. That was in 2015 and I’ve been around more or less nonstop ever since.

So just about one more day.

I feel like you feel when you graduate and are going off to a new school.

Thank you to those who have kept various members of my family in their prayers.

Did someone say Swanson?

Well, it was a good run. I came here because someone posted a question about hte Left Behind series, and (so far) I’ve put about 20 years in on the subject. (Grew up with older models, so L.B. looked quite liberal at times!) I’ve tried to put other things of interest on the blog as well, but I think Jeannie Gaffigan’s book was the one that people actually read.

I stuck around CAF because it was a big site … always something of interest.

Like I said, you’re all welcome at Narnia Web ( community.narniaweb.com ). It leans slightly Reformed but all well-behaved posters are welcome. I believe there are 1-2 moderators of the Catholic persuasion, at that. And political threads are banned! 🙂

Until then, this is about as naughty as I get, but it fits:

Remember the t.p hoarders? Caption: “If 2020 were a roll of toilet paper” …

(Reddit did that; it’s not mine.)

Everyone please have the best New Year’s Day possible under the circumstances. Blessings in Christ, and may we all meet someday at the feet of the Lord.
