The tatoo in Christianity?

When I was a child, the priests, nuns and brothers who taught me were all on the same page. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and should not have “grafitti” on it. When I got older, I’ve seen holocaust survivors with numbers on their forearms. I really, really, really dislike tatoos.

On a strictly physical side. What looks good in youth is gonna look pretty sad in old age.

Yep, like a shrunken old anchor tattoo on a withered old bicep…

Hi, this is my first post,
I am planning on entering the Priesthood, and when I am ordained, I plan to have Hebrews 5:6 tattooed on my right forearm. That is the “You are a Priest forever. . . ”
Also I plan to have a small cross tattooed on each palm.
Just thought I should add my :twocents:

God Bless
Thursday
Call me old-fashioned but if my Priest had tattooed palms I would change Parishes. I think tattoos are tawdry and undignified.
