Is it true that the temple will be reconstructed right before the Second Coming or is the New Testament correct when it says nobody knows when the end of the world is but The Father?
 
I mean, we have that from the mouth of Christ Himself, so…

Right. The Church has no teaching on the matter of whether the Jewish people will reconstruct the Temple before the end times.

According to the Book of Revelation, the Temple will be rebuilt together with the new Jerusalem at the end of times.

The Apostle John was alive when the Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, he lived 30 years after that event and was the only one who wrote of a New Temple and a New City.
People try to come up with events that will pin down GOD and the destruction of the World. But we must stand firm and believe the true word that was given on this as someone already noted.
