I want to remind you all that the One True God is sovereign. If we can agree on that, the news I am about to share with you will be a little more palpable. If you disagree, well, be prepared to disagree a lot more.
Let me start off by saying that we can also agree on one other concept. Some of these things I am introducing with are crucial. God moves through the feelings from time to time, though the Catholic Church is not a religion of feelings. Agreed? Okay.
Now after Eucharist, sometimes we can hear the voice of God, however clear, in whatever language, and through whatever bodily faculty – but bear in mind, it is usually through both the heart and the mind. If it is truly Christ, you will feel a consolation in your heart. If not, and it is disconcerting, it is the devil. I think we are squared away on this regard.
Okay, now let me partially dismiss what I have said. I have been, up until today, without the voice of Jesus for five days. I still commune with my guardian angel, because honestly, so many things in my life are uncertainties, I need guidance, so he goes something like, “Do this, eat that, yes, clean that dish,” and “Stay with your father for a little while longer.” Simple things like this, usually in the form of commands, or hints and tips. On rare occasion, he will confirm something I am in the dark about, and need to know, such as, “Yes, this is true.”
Onto the meat of the post: The Theory of Everything.
This is no light topic, and is desperately, oh so desperately needed in the world today, which is why I have taken up the gall and courage to detail it here. Yes, I am going to tell you the answer to this theory, sought by philosophers ever since such a thing was known to have an answer to.
One loose theory I have is that we should have had more doctors of the Church in the recent centuries, but that they have fallen away to sin and damnation, and have not accomplished their task. I may or may not be a doctor of the Church, but this you will decide on my own merit.
I will give you my story and background to provide evidence.
I have been writing, thinking, being bored, and masquerading for the past eight years, writing over a thousand pages of drafts and theory on this very topic. I have been trying to find this answer ever since then. I have written multiple drafts of the specific The Theory of Everything, and they were trash. Most of what I have written is lost, either by discarding it, burning it, or deleting it. I have, in the utmost religious zeal, eradicated all my faulty answers up to this point, so only my journals of yesteryear remain.
But two nights ago, I found it. It took me an hour of writing, another hour of analyzing, and the past two days of proving, in liberal efforts to disprove the theory, and I have been unsuccessful. The hardest reproof to make was the sacrament of confession. But having sufficiently gone through it all, there is literally no religious doctrine that does not fit within it, which makes it critical. My arguments for it are numerous, but I have been commanded to not write one more document in the reason that, “If you wrote more, it wouldn’t be The Theory of Everything!” Quite true. So I refrain, even from writing In Defense of the Theory. You will see why.
So I refrain: this document is maybe the most crucial thing you will ever read and work to personally prove. It won’t make sense on the first read, but it will seep in, and you will wonder, “It is really true?” and you will receive the unremitting words, “Yes it is.” Just ask Jesus in the Eucharist.
