I can give you the general idea I believe. In her vision the Pope is going up a steep hill that is covered with the bodies of bishops. And if I remember right he is killed. Now it gets fuzzy for me, I think another Pope takes his place and finally makes it to the top. Well sorry, that is all I can recall. I found it by doing a search but I’m sure someone will be along soon with better details.

I believe that is the second secret. If it isn’t, there is another one that the pope will not reveal. I truly love the story of Fatima, every non-Catholic should read it and learn from the 70,000 people who saw the Miracle of Our Lady, including the Secular news who printed about the Miracle.

It has been revealed. The man in white (presumed to be the Pope) going up the hill, seeing dead churchmen, etc. It is believed it was a warning/foretelling of Pope John Paul II being shot.

**Fatima mourned the death of Sister Lucy, the lone surviving seer of Fatima, it also asks if the true Secret of Fatima has died with her. For 45 years, she had been forbidden by the Vatican to speak of the mysterious secret, and died under this imposition of silence.
The secret was supposed to be released in 1960, but pope John XXIII decided to keep it hidden. On June 25, 2000, the Vatican Cardinal Ratzinger released a part of the Third Secret containing the vision of a “Bishop dressed in white” who is killed by gunfire etc…
According to the Vatican interpretation, the Third Secret is nothing more than a prediction of the May 13, 1981 assasination attempt against the pope by the lone gunman Mehmet Ali Agca.
Both Catholics and non-Catholics sources questioned the authenticity of this interpretation

I truly trust the Vatican. If the pope says stand on your head, I would. I am a Roman Catholic and the pope is the Vicar of Christ, but being a Catholic yourself, you already know this…

This was from the special Tsunami addition. It is not uncommon for human beings to look to any prophecy, be it end times or Nostradamus as always being fulfilled in their time. I think this connection is nothing more than a Hal Lindsay type of effect where every decade he sees new evidence of end times being fulfilled.
In this case it is a seemingly mysterious secret and its fulfillment by tsunami, desipite the fact that tsunamis have always occured in the past and will occur in the future.

If something is kept a secret…and I’m NOT saying this is the case on the third secret, I can think of a very good reason. Because it could be confusing and people put their own interpretation on it…or listen to their friend’s interpretation, or panic, and go waaayyyy over the top, etc. Possibly the reason the secret wasn’t revealed for so many years was because people could have panicked, thought the world was ending, etc. etc. I mean really…some people are sure they see Jesus in a potato chip…can we really trust that some things won’t send off a frenzy with some. Once it’s off and running, it’s hard to rein in. Witness Medjugorje.
