Malachi Martin and others did link the sexual abuse scandal to the satanic infiltration of the church.

There are other books, too. For example, “Lucifer’s Lodge”, by William H. Kennedy.

I think it’s possible, even likely, that the Medici Popes were a manifestation of satanic infiltration of the church. :hmmm:

Come to think of it, Cardinals Humbert and Frederic too! :ehh:

Pope Boniface VIII almost certainly ordered the murder of Pope Celestine. At least his reputation was such that people were able to quite readily believe it in his own day.

Even the original circle of Apostles included betrayals, doubters and a suicide!

The fact is, no one is impeccable, that means to some degree one way or another there is always satanic infiltration of the church. We will always struggle against evil, it’s nothing new, that’s why even the Pope has a confessor, we are all sinners. What is odd to me is that people tend to think that today things are somehow worse.

I can think of a lot times in history when we could have used the Blessed Mother to blow the whistle on what was coming. But usually she didn’t say a word, not a peep, and the church “went to hell in a hand basket” time and again.

But what do I know 🤷 , I am not published like those other two “authorities”.

…and perhaps you missed this earlier, this may help you.

,According to Matthew 5:8, the “immaculate heart” is a heart which, with God’s grace, has come to perfect interior unity and therefore “sees God”. To be “devoted” to the Immaculate Heart of Mary means therefore to embrace this attitude of heart, which makes the fiat—“your will be done”—the defining centre of one’s whole life. It might be objected that we should not place a human being between ourselves and Christ. But then we remember that Paul did not hesitate to say to his communities: “imitate me” (1 Cor 4:16; Phil 3:17; 1 Th 1:6; 2 Th 3:7, 9). In the Apostle they could see concretely what it meant to follow Christ. But from whom might we better learn in every age than from the Mother of the Lord?

…And so we come to the final question: What is the meaning of the “secret” of Fatima as a whole (in its three parts)? What does it say to us? First of all we must affirm with Cardinal Sodano: “… the events to which the third part of the ‘secret’ of Fatima refers now seem part of the past”. Insofar as individual events are described, they belong to the past. Those who expected exciting apocalyptic revelations about the end of the world or the future course of history are bound to be disappointed. Fatima does not satisfy our curiosity in this way, just as Christian faith in general cannot be reduced to an object of mere curiosity. What remains was already evident when we began our reflections on the text of the “secret”: the exhortation to prayer as the path of “salvation for souls” and, likewise, the summons to penance and conversion.

I would like finally to mention another key expression of the “secret” which has become justly famous: “my Immaculate Heart will triumph”. What does this mean? The Heart open to God, purified by contemplation of God, is stronger than guns and weapons of every kind. The fiat of Mary, the word of her heart, has changed the history of the world, because it brought the Saviour into the world—because, thanks to her Yes, God could become man in our world and remains so for all time. The Evil One has power in this world, as we see and experience continually; he has power because our freedom continually lets itself be led away from God. But since God himself took a human heart and has thus steered human freedom towards what is good, the freedom to choose evil no longer has the last word. From that time forth, the word that prevails is this: “In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart; I have overcome the world” (Jn 16:33). The message of Fatima invites us to trust in this promise.

Thank-you for your post. I enjoyed it very much. And you are correct the evil one does seem to have the power in this world. This is most certainly his world, but through us and only through us can we all take away that power and give it back to our Lord Jesus Christ. And the only way to do that is to give our heart, and soul back to God. Where it belongs. If we pray hard enough. We can do it. THe Blessed Mother knows this. That is why she calls us all back to her Son. She knows the Power of prayer. So does that devil, that why he is afraid of prayer. Because he is only afraid of one person, that is God. And where there is prayer you will find God.

Here is the biggest secret of all → Only evil will cloak itself itself in secrecy in order to conceal it’s hideous nature.

The Truth, on the other hand, has absolutely no need for secrecy and it is really no surprise that there are no secrets in Islam… none whatsoever.
yeah, and if you dare speak up about it in full daylight (without the anonymous ids of the internet) one will have to walk around with 24 hour guards.

Talk about secrets - the muslims successfully got a ruling by the (commie and muslim) fascist thugs in the UN to censor anyone speaking against islam. It is non-binding in the USA. But, that certainly sounds like secrecy - or trying to make it secret! And too many have died while trying to even question islam. Look at the riots if anyone tells the truth about islam! Look at the reaction to Fitna - and it only has Quranic surahs in it. 😃

Or is it that there is no secret and you will lie like a devil about that! Right!? sssshhh, don’t tell them that their heads will roll.

Satanic infiltration? You called it blind obedience, which in fact was just obedience. So do you and Malachi Martin consider obedience to the Holy Father satanic infiltration? I think Martin Luther also considered the Pope in his day the Antichrist. I guess it is a good think Malachi Martin isn’t anyone of importance that we should pay heed to. Instead we have our Holy Mother Church, our Catechism and a wonderful leader in Pope Benedict XVI.

I’m tired of your “quote mining” and sophistry. I’ve tried to be patient with you. If you don’t want to hear what I write, don’t respond. That’s not what I expect from a good Christian.

I’m saying that the shooting of JPII is not the Third Secret. The shooting and stabbing occurred to get JPII to listen to and believe Fatima, just as the Miracle of the Sun was to get people to listen. And another Pope was shown the miracle of the sun to get him to believe.
Forgive me. but would what you said contradict’s scripture and the words of Christ. Did Jesus not say he would send the advocate the Holy Spirit to reveal what he wants us to know? I think that the Pope is just find with the Holy Spirit guiding him. 😃

Um Excuse me. We do not need books to tell us the Devil will try to destroy the Church. That’s like been in the bible from the get go. Did Jesus not say the devil is the master of disguises, and would try to hid in his clothing? But he also said the devil would never destroy the church. So for us to think that just because we have the true Church the devil is not trying to destroy it every second would be ludicrous.

It is not quote mining. It is adherence to the suggestion in forum rules that the whole post not be re-quoted.

I haven’t been here in a couple of days. Why are these forums black and white and different or is it me?

Well also about the constant abuse in the non-Catholic churches by evil pastors, is this too blind obedience?
Wasn’t this a cultural thing at the time? I would not call it blind obedience.
If someone were to say blind obedience wasn’t it by the parents?

The encouragement of “blind obedience” has always been a tool of satan.

If you read the testimony of a lot of the molested altar boys by evil priests, a common claim is that they were compelled to comply with the abuse out of duty to “obey” and “trust” for their clergyman.
Is there really such a thing as blind obedience?
That could be another thread.

What are you talking about. Are you trying to say that the testimony of abused boys is the teaching of he church. Wake up smell the coffee. The abuse of young boys by evil priests was never called blind obedience. It was called a sin, and unacceptable from the Church. The Holy Father is who exposed it, and said there is no excuse or words to explain this evil. It is UNACCEPTABLE is what the Holy Father said. Never ever has the church ever taught abuse as a duty to obey or trust. You better get those p’s and q’s of yours straight.

Well put. :hey_bud:

Enough sophistry. You already know that’s not what I was saying. You’re just quote mining and employing sophistry. I’m only interested in conversing with people who engage in rational, honest discussion. I’m not going to play games.
