Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God. *

That’s not the real Third Secret of Fatima.

The real Third Secret of Fatima was introduced by Pope John Paul II on May 13, 2000, in a homily during the beatification of two of the seers. In this homily, Pope JPII said the message of Fatima was a warning to have nothing to do with the tail of the dragon, citing Apocalypse 12:3-4.

This chapter and verse has been interpreted by Church scholars to be a warning that many Catholic clergy will turn evil as the end times approach, and millions of blindly obedient laypersons will follow them.

This is strongly reinforced by Cardinal Ratzinger’s comments in 1984 in Jesus Magazine when he said the Third Secret deals with the importance of the “end times” and dangers threatening the faith and lives of Christians. This was three years after the failed assassination attempt, and nothing was said about it in connection to the Third Secret.

So folks, we now know our choice in this matter. We can believe the Vatican and our Catholilc Church or Vitamin C. I would rather believe that some layman got caught up in conspiracy theory fascination than that the Catholic Church is lying to us.

I see the point you are making.

However, there is no need to panic.

With regard to the ‘Third Secret’ this change in the law is an external threat…not an internal one. It might mean Satan is grabbing Connecticut

, I would have thought he already had all of the states by now.

Perhaps more importantly, the church does not need this legal foundation of corporation sole. We follow the bishops out of faith, not because some law binds the parish property to him.

There are many places all over the world where the church does not have the legal underpinnings of corporation sole. In fact, that legal device was not used from the beginning in the USA. The Body of Christ is not merely some amalgamation of institutional arrangements and legal devices. And where these are not possible, whether under persecution or discrimination (or just local legal parameters) the Faith can flourish and even grow.

Although considered a setback by many, this change in law is hardly some doomsday scenario.

The topic is certainly worth a thread of it’s own, I am sure there are several already.

I was at Fatima when the third secret was read by Cardinal Sodano, John Paul was seated in the presider’s chair and sister Lucia was seated behind JPII with other dignitaries. I do not speak Portuguese so I was not aware the third secret was being read till after mass. The priest who led our pilgrimage told us and we all got a copy in English, which I still have. It is the same as in the link posted by Eucharisted. It was a great experience, to be there and see JPII and Sister Lucia. If it were not the real secret, I can’t imagine Sister Lucia calmly accepting what was read.

If it were not the real secret, I can’t imagine Sister Lucia calmly accepting what was read.

Calmly sitting there and listening is not the same thing as calmly accepting. And I don’t see why you can’t imagine her sitting there quietly given that she had already been doing that for the last forty years after the 1960 deadline had come and gone. She was also under orders and had restrictions placed on her.

And on the very same day, she also witnessed Pope John Paul II himself say it was a warning to have nothing to do with the tail of the dragon during the homily of the beatification ceremony, quoting Apoc. 12:3-4.

The main point of the Third Secret is simple. Turn back to God, we have all turned away from him and his Church. Go back before its too late. Confess your sins, pray the Rosary. Pray for eachother and try to get everyone to turn back to God. Go back to practicing the ten commandments. The law that was laid out for us. We are all guilty. But it is not time for blame, but repentance and prayer.

Is the Gospel of Luke in your Bible?

Luke 1:42 - 48 “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? Give me a break. You don’t think that Mary should have a special name because she carried and bore the Messiah, the King of all Kings, Our Lord Jesus Christ who died for you and for me? Do you really think she should be called just “Mary”? Think about it. **She is the Mother of Jesus Christ! **She should be thought of as something as Bless-ed as she is.

I do not think that anyone is advocating the heretical notion that the Theotokos is divine. She certainly is not. She is infinitely less than Christ, as we all are. I can say with 100% certainty that Catholics do not worship Mary at all. Neither do Orthodox Christians.

This is very interesting.

Lets face up to something that is not popular to even suggest. There can be people, priests, bishops, within the vatican who have given them selves over to the Evil One. And one day, like it or not, after the real catholics, christians, are taken away, or killed ( along with all those dead priests in the letter), only the evil will be left. And they will misuse the vatican, the government of the church, for the use of the anti-christ.

We were warned. Do not get caught up in the tail of the dragon and it is an end-times warning. Do not be deceived.

Even pope benendict is , by church prophecy of St, malachy, supposed to be the next to last true pope.
