I just saw three singing priests on EWTN on Raymonds show. Really great. They have a recording contract, and are donating most of the proceeds to charity. Go to the Priests.com for details. They are all Irish.

It is the same three from PBS. They say it is a challenge to find the time, but they do their best. They are wonderful!

The Priests are excellent, in my opinion. The are great singers - they take music very seriously, but they are also very serious about the priesthood. Any time I’ve seen them being interviewed on Irish television, they have stressed that their parishes come first and the recording studio is second! The CD is wonderful - all sacred music, but a mix of well-known and not so well-known, classical and traditional. The orchestral arrangements are very well done also.

I have the CD too-I listened to it on my computer for St. Patrick’s Day. Yes, they are wonderful!
I didn’t see the concert from St. Malachy’s Church in NYC-it’s on EWTN, and I don’t have cable or satellite TV-but they were on ABC’s ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’ St. Patrick’s morning. They sang ‘The Irish Blessing’ on that program.
I also heard they were going to march in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in NY. I hope they got a huge round of applause!
When I went to the local Barnes & Noble just after Christmas, I asked if they had the CD. The clerk told me that when the boxes were opened, the CDs were immediately snapped up!
I didn’t see the PBS concert, but I did see a story about them on NBC Nightly News. They even sang for the reporter who did the story!

I understood EWTN was going to record this event; hoping it would be sold on EWTN site.

I saw them in December when they stopped in Toronto for a free concert at St. Paul’s basilica. Here’s an interview with them the next day.
