The Torah Still Growing?

I’ve got an odd question that maybe someone with some Jewish perspective can help me with.

The Jewish people are still waiting for a Messiah, right?

So what we call the Old Testiment is the Jewish Torah, right?

Are they still adding books to the Torah then? Have they stopped, if so when? It would make sense to me that if Jesus wasn’t the Messiah then there would be no reason to stop writing the Old Testitment and continute on.

Am I rambling, or making sense, lol.😃

Torah is only the first 5 books of the Bible.
