I’m confused … during Septuagesima and Lent, we don’t say the A-------, but we replace it … with what?
The rubrics in my diurnal say “Laus tibi Domine,” and this is shorthand (I believe) for “Laus tibi Domine, Rex aeternae gloriae.”
So far so good.
So why does my FSSP Ordo say to replace with “Laus tibi, Christe”?
And why does Hausman say something else (I forget exactly what)?
