Can someone explain me why the Golden Arrow prayer says ‘*the name of God be adored *BY the Sacred Heart of Jesus’?? The prayer is given below:

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable,
most incomprehensible and ineffable Name of God
be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored
and glorified in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth,
by all the creatures of God,
and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.

I understand the prayer uptill “…the creatures of God”.
But I don’t understand how it relates to “by the SH of Jesus”. For me it is like … “May the holy name of God be adored by the SH of Jesus”. It sounds like “May God adore God”!!

I could be wrong! I am not a native speaker of English.

Can someone explain me why the prayer says ‘God be adored BY Jesus’??

I have heard prayers that ends with " …by the immaculate heart of Mary". That is fine, because V.Mary does pray and adore God. But how does it work with Sacred Heart of Jesus?

You are not wrong.

The Father loves the Son. The Son loves the Father and offered himself to the Father on the Cross. There was no greater act of worship or adoration than the Son offering himself to the Father on the Cross. The priest makes Christ present and that same Son, united with his Church, offers himself to the Father in that same act of adoration and worship at every Mass.

but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go hence. (John 14:31)

It should be no surprise that Jesus loves and adores and worships the Father.

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most mysterious and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in heaven, on earth and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ in the most Holy Sacrament of the altar.

This prayer was revealed by Our Lard to a Carmelite Nun of Tours in 1843 as a reparation for blasphemy.

“This Golden Arrow will wound My Heart delightfully,” He said, “and heal the wounds inflicted by blasphemy.”

I think it means Jesus praising the father.

Thank you TimothyH for taking time to clarify. Now I got it.
I am a born Catholic. But I went down to the level of hating God and said nasty things to Him.
Now I am sorry for what I had been doing and wanted to do something as a penance and I found this prayer in the Pieta book. But I was not able to completely read the prayer because of my misunderstanding. I used to stop the prayer at " …creatures", since the rest of it did not make sense to me. But now I can read it completely.
Thank you.
