The Trinity described for Muslims

Okay, mmx, we’re all very impressed by your distaste for the Jews. How about answering my question now?

The other branch is prop. Isaac (pbuh). If u look carefully, from that time on, most of the ‘savior’ raised by God were sent and intended for the Jewish people (Moses, Aaron, Jacob, David Solomon… pbu them). Yet, most of those ‘savior’'s teaching were ignored and some event killed by them. Their worse ‘crime’ was the worshipping of other form of ‘material’ and human gods (almost similar to Trinity by muslim perspective) and God kept on reminding and ‘correcting’ them by sending list of His messengers and punishment.

Why so many messengers and prophet sent to them? Because the Jewish was so ignorant and stubborn and all they wanted was that those teachings must not oppose to their likings! They were ‘the chosen ones’ among other races in the world. After one prophet down, they had the pleasure to alter the teaching (Torah, Zabur etc) so that those teachings work in their favor. Finally they came up with their own verson of Trinity!

When christianity came, they were amazed and knew that it was the words of God. But with one problem! Christianity was meant for all human races and no longer exclusive to their race as it was before. They felt cheated and threatened. They were no longer the ‘chosen’ race. And with their gifted brain and wit, they managed to ‘kill’ Jesus in hope that christianity would die quick.

And slowly they sneaked into christianity, putting their minds, thoughts and even writings in order to make christianity void and false. The product then is another form of Trinity for the christians. Why do you think the Judaism is not so opened to other races (such thing as missions) ? Simply because u are not Jews ‘the selected race’ and funny thing is that christians use their testaments to define christianity.

This helps to explain why there are many similarities between Quran and the testaments. Why the similarities? Because they were all from the same one God, with the latest correcting the previous teachings.

God have had it with the Jews and their arrogance and ignorance. That is why God sent Muhammad pbuh - the far bretheren of the Jews. This will help to avoid the corrupted and chaotic mind of the Jews at it’s early establishment (of Islam). No more trinity and no more special messenger to ‘special race’. No more alteration of the original teaching… Islam is for all human beings.

p/s Pardon my English.
mmx,

Did one or any of the prophets ever told the Israelites that the Old Testament books were corrupted? If not, then why did God waited for so long until Muhammad if he is so concerned of their salvation? Why did not Jesus say that the OT were corrupted writings? Why then again he waited for Muhammad? Poor souls.

But again, it is not because the OT and NT were corrupted but it was man’s heart that was corrupted.

We believe He came to earth and after He left, He sent His Spirit to help us, until He returns.

Peace to you,

Hi Elizabeth,

John 17:1-3 = Jesus prayed to God and clearly said that God sent him.

When Jesus came to earth as God in human form, who was in heaven? If Jesus is God, why does he need to pray? If he is surely divine, why can’t we find a single verse from the Bible where Jesus himself said: " I AM GOD, WORSHIP ME". So far, most of the verses quoted to support the claim that he is God are all implicit statements.

Peace to you also,

deen

Mohammad (may his soul rest in peace) was born in the early 7th century. Up to that time the heresy of Arius was at its height and he might have encountered some of these heretics and ultimately got his idea about the Lord Jesus.
Proof please. Otherwise, the statement is plain conjecture.

Please read the more intensive literature on Islam history. Read the Quran to make sure whether the teachings and words are heresy.

The problems with christians are that they don’t live their christianity outside their churches. For most christians, religion is complementary. There were times when Negros are not allowed to be christian. They were even denied access to the white-man churches!

Even in some country with the so-called ‘stronghold’ christian, christian man are even allowed to marry another christian man!!!. How will it be conducted by your pastor or Father in your own church?

I am not trying to be rude here. I am trying to give you the picture of how a corrupted religion may drag you even further away from the Truth. Christian is no longer guided by God. It is obsolete. It has been altered thousand of years ago.

Just like mentioned both in Quran and the Bible, we just do not want another Sodom history revived!

Peace to all my chrstian brothers and sisters…

Is it possible that the Trinitatian Doctrine was based on Pagan roots?

The following are examples of the teachings of the pagan cults prevalent in the Mediterranean region long before Jesus came. Attis of Phrygia, Adonis, Bacchus, Osiris, Mithra and Horus were pagan gods with legends about redemption, atonement and resurrection very similar to those ascribed to Jesus:
  1. ATTIS of Phrygia - was born of a virgin named Nana and was regarded as the ONLY Begotten Son and Saviour. He was bled to death on March 24th at the foot of a pine tree, and his votaries believed that his blood had renewed the fertility of the earth and thus brought a new life to humanity. He rose from the dead, and his death and resurrection were celebrated by his followers.
2)ADONIS of Syria - Believe to be the Saviour, was born of a virgin mother. He also suffered death for the redemption of Mankind. He rose from the dead in Spring.
  1. DIONYSIUS or BACCHUS of Greece- Another demi god of the pagans. Was termed The Only Begotten Son of Jupiter. He was born of a virgin mother named Demeter on **December 25th! ** to his followiers he was the Redeemer and Savior. He called himselfthe Alpha and Omega. The stiry of his passion was celebrated every year, and ti similarly consisted in death, descent into hell and resurrection.
  2. OSIRIS - the Egyptian god- was born on 29th December of a virgin mother. He was betrayed by one Typhen and was slain. **He was buried, remained in the hell for two or three days and nights. He then rose from the dead. **
5)MITHRA the Persian sun god- His birth, also of a virgin mother, took place on the** 25th of December. Christmas and Easter were the most important festivals of the Methraists. They had seven sacraments. The most important of which were baptism, confirmation and Eucharistic supper at which the cimmunicants partook of the divine nature of Mithra under the species of bread and wine**.

With these historical facts in mind, one may well wonder whether St.Paul and the other Church leaders if his brand derived their doctrines of salvation by blood atonement, death and resurrection of Jesus, the Eucharist, Trinity, baptism, Christmas and Easter celebrations from Jesus (peace be on him) and the Holy Spirit or rather from the pagan cults (as sampled above ) which had preceded Christianity.

**The similarities are too remarkable to be merely coincidental. **

Deen

I think you are refering to Eurasian Post# 44.

It has been 7 hours now. Have you gotten the answer to how many sides that belt has and how long is each side?

That is actually a step to a good explanation for an ANALOGY of the BLESSED TRINITY and HOW MYSTERIOUS AND GREAT GOD IS.

By the way Deen, if you Google “MOEBIUS STRIP”, you will be surprised to find out that that belt connection I showed you is a branch of Higher Math, STUDIED IN DETAIL IN MASTERS AND DOCTORAL PROGRAMS IN MATHEMATICS. In fact it is used in taperecorders so that you can have twice the number of hours in a tape WITHOUT HAVING TO REWIND. IT IS ONE OF THE MAJOR WORKS AND DISCOVERIES OF A GERMAN ASTRONOMER-MATHEMATICIAN NAMED MOEBIUS WHO INVENTED IT IN 1858.

This argument would go along the lines that ALL Muslim sects are correct and Islam should be judged according to the practices of all sects of Islam.

Catholicism teaches that Truth can only be found inside The Church and that “other” christian sects are not in the fullness of truth. There are “Christians” (or at least they call themselves this) that do not practice what is considered Christian Truth; this does not take away from what Catholics hold as Truth.

Whose to say God was not working in the hearts and minds of pagan thinkers in order to prepare them for the Coming of Christ?

God can us myths and the natural world (winter/spring, death/resurrection) to prepare people to hear His message. That is why these stories seem familar, they were meant to. God was preparing pagans for the Coming of Christ. In Christ, myth became historical fact.

Peace

I bet you believe in Satan. He tried to mimic the coming work of the saviour, the Lord Jesus, thru paganism. Isn’t it a “coincedence”? He knows Christ is coming into the world to save the fallen human race from his grip and so makes fun of it in advance for that day that he didn’t know when it will happen. He knows everything you don’t know, deen.
