The Trinity in the bible?

How can I show that the Trinity is biblical; I ask because some Jehovah witness coming to my home say its not. They also say that not even the church fathers believe in the trinity that is was a later addition to the tradition of the RCC; They say that this information came from and older CCC of the RCC…? please help …?
 
You gotta remember that JWs have their own edited version of the Bible, freely picking and choosing which verse or verses suit their needs in any given discussion, often times taking passages from the OT and NT and reassempling them 'way out of their context.

I show them I can do it too: And Judas went out and hanged himself…Go thou and do liekwise. Both are in the NT, but certainly not in that order!😛

read the first verses of Genesis. God is, God creates-the Father, God speaks - the Word, God moves over the waters as a mighty wind–the Spirit. Present and acting in concert from before the beginning of creation, from all eternity. One God, three Persons, Trinity. JWs will debate you and will use a bible in which all relevant references have been edited or removed. Don’t try to debate on their terms you can’t it is like having an argument with a robot who is preprogrammed like a Woody Doll to speak only set language when you pull a string.

the beginning Apologetics series, which you can order from the homepage catalog, has one course specifically on how to speak to JWs, don’t even attempt this until you have been through that course.
 
Personnally I think that the best way to respond to a JW about the Blessed Trinity is ask them to refute the doctrine of the Blessed Trinity by Scripture. But before you ask them this, be educated on the doctrine of the Trinity.

Scripture does not nor cannot refute the doctrine of the Trinity. So it would be very difficult for them to refute the doctrine by Scripture. Put them on the defense instead of forcing you to be defensive.

The only thing that they can use is the verses that say there is only one God. And your response obviously is “Yes, I agree.” After that they will have nothing.😃

Now do this if you do not want them to come back. For I believe that I have been black listed by the JW for they don’t visit me anymore.🙂
