Tell us about this book. Is it a joke, or is it actually read by Arabic Christians?
 
It is not a joke, it is in answer to the challenge set in the qur’an itself.

I believe it was written by arab Christians, not read by them as they read the Bible.
 
Muhammad’s challenge was met long time ago when his followers left him after his death to followe another false prophet called Musaylama, and his Quran.

Can you just digest it that God will give such a subjective and meaningless challenge? “hey if you do not believe this is from Me, go ahead and write something like it and i am the judge”

I mean really, this is supposed to be a joke.
 
I think the Bible is more miraculous than the Qu’ran.

The Bible was written by numerous authors and various prophets, yet it contains the same message and is historically accurate and it is intact and we have the original copies of the Bible (which have been carbon dated and found to be authentic). Plus, every sound Christian understands the Bible.

The Qu’ran was written by a prophet’s followers and it contains contradicting messages, is not historically accurate, and the original has been lost: all we have of the Qu’ran are copies, and interpretations of said copies. Plus, Muslims cannot even understand the Qu’ran - they can only recite it.

YES! YES! THAT’S WHAT ITS CALLED! I mentioned this to muslim woman on another thread, but couldn’t remember the name.

On a side point, Chrisse, on your signature you say Allah is a pagan God, but you do realize that Arab christians call God “Allah” as well, right? That’s the arabic word for God…

Yes I do, but the Arab Christians use it as we would say God, not god. So it is used linguistically by our Arab Christian brothers and sisters. Allah, to muslims, is a name. God is not YHWH’s name, YHWH is.

Some may be offended, but I’m on other forums where there are many Arab Christians, Coptics in particular, and they are the first to say Allah is a pagan god.

I agree absolutely. The Bible is truely a miracle.
 
The challenge of the Qur’an, contrary to the opinion of inJESUS, has never been met, and never will be met.

“Al-Furqan” is a name for the Qur’an, it’s even a name of a chapter in the Qur’an.

But this book that Christians are using to try to dupe Muslims into believing their lies is just a lie itself. They took the real Qur’an and changed it.

Suffice to say, you won’t find Muslims who are impressed with it.

God gave us reason and emotions. Which one are you using to address my arguments Amy? you are throwing words but where is your proof?

the same Arabs who followed your prophet were the same Arabs who left him after his death for another false prophet and another book. Did anyone tell you that any Arab who heard Muhammad’s words entered a divine trance? have you got the Itqan fi Ulum Al-Quran which says explicitely that not all the Quranic passages are eloquent?

Besides, do you really believe such a challenge fits God’s wisdom? have you ever read about a Biblical prophet throwing such ridiculous and subjective challenges?

Do u really believe God’s masterpiece is a book collected according to length, without any harmony, mixing chapters from different eras? if you do, then again, you have a twisted understanding of God’s majesty.

And i would like to challenge you with Muhammad’s challenge. Give me one Quranic passage better than the sermon of the mount chapter, and i am the judge.

What will you use this time Amy, brain or emotions?
