There is only one religion that is written in the bible and that is the Church of God.

“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the Church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia” 2 Corinthians 2:1

No person on this earth has the right to build his own religion. Our Lord Jesus Christ has already established a religion and what we should do is to be affiliate of that church. Therefore I do believe that all the church established by man are just in vain.

“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” Mark 7:7

Agreed. And there is just one Church on earth that was not established by men. Can you guess which one that is?

If you are really member in the church of god then Who’s your presiding minister?

😦 The problem that they do it and they deceive many generations in the name of God…
“Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ, and will deceive many." Matthew 24:4-5

Do you mean at the church I attend? My parish Priest is Father Tom Daly. He is assisted by Father Bill, Father Kevin, Father Seamus and Father Manuel. I doubt you will know of them unless you are in the West London area.

My Bishop is Archbishop Vincent Nichols.

No I don’t know them…I thought the name of your religion is the church of god? are you a catholic?

But you have to read the rest of the Bible, especially the New Testament, but the Old Testament is quite instructive too, and provides background and history that is essential in understanding the Church of God.

You’ll see a very well-organized church established by man under the guidance of the Holy Spirit that includes a heirarchy of ministers (priests, deacons, laypeople), methods of solving conflicts, an order of worship centered around the Eucharist, budget policies, sending and financing of missionaries, description of women’s ministries, etc.

There is no esoteric church of individuals floating through history. The Church of God is visible on this earth, well-organized and run by human beings who use human methodologies (e.g., buildings, books, monies, music, etc.) to conduct the everyday life of the Church of God.

The Church is also universal; i.e., encompassing every place on earth, hence the name chosen early in the 1st century for the Church of God–“Catholic.”

And when you get down to brass tacks, this organization, the “Church of God” as it is called in the Bible, was around for almost 400 years before the Bible was established as we know it today. The Church, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, compiled the Bible. The Bible did not compile the Church.

I quoted wrong (as usual!) - I mean I use the approach that the Church came FIRST and then the Bible was put together and translated for the entire world, etc…😉
