I know we got off the wrong foot with my first reply to something you wrote, but I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that the vast majority of Christians honestly could not care any less about your religion, and probably would not think about it at all if it weren’t for the extremely poor treatment received by Christians in the Muslim-majority lands. I don’t mean this in any insulting way, but to say that “Christians will be pleased” at the arguments between Sunni and Shi’a or Ahmadi or whatever other sect is simply not true. We really are, if anything, rather unhappy about it, because it just means more people will die for following the “wrong kind” of Islam, not to mention all the innocents who are either of a different religion, or of no religion, or not observant Muslims to begin with.
Basically, nobody wins when Muslims fight each other.
And, yes, please don’t call people here “darling”. That is a overly familiar term, best reserved for wives, husbands, or other romantically-involved people, not on the internet. Please use the person’s user-name who you are replying to. That’s why we have user-names.

Darling may be an English word to express extra ordinary love for some one. Since christians talk so much about love, even for their enemies, they should have no objection to some extra ordinary love coming from a darling from Iran.

But we, muslims love christians and Quran says that they are over best friends. in middle ages christians’ life in islamic countries was so better than mulsims’ life in christian countries. But in these years in west secular goverments are on the power and in middle east most goverments are relegious. And some times polotics of our goverment make problems. I realy love christians.

That’s fine. I’m just saying that the word “darling” in English has some very specific connotations, and is not the sort of thing that people who are not romantically involved with one another or otherwise very close would say. Like I could say it to a girl I were dating, but I would not say it to a friend, even though I love my friends, too. It would sound strange and inappropriate to say it to friends, because of its romantic connotations.

so your statement actually can be interpreted that u urself find that marrying prepubescent girl is an act of horror…then it’s the problems of u as muslim to make explanation about the same horrific verse saying that prepubescent girl can be married and later on can also be divorced…ur explanation about that very verse can only mean that even babies can be married before the marriage can be consumated…no…it’s not horrible to u knowing that they still can’t grasp the meaning of marriage since marriage for u is only matter of contract…
Don’t compare the bible to ur koran. While koran makes most verses as prescription to do or not to do for all muslims, the story of the bible should be seen as how God could always make the best of all sinners, they didn’t define their action to be followed as prescription for the faithful, but to take lessons from their fallen nature to repent and turn to the right way.
And if you said that bible tells something horrible, your Koran even tells how you should take care of your vital organ in a plain order…geeeeee…!!!
and forgive me if the verse sounds almost like a suggestion to only have clean vital organ for wifes while with other women, u can always have whatever u like! - Status
