YOUR MISSION -should you choose to accept it- is to take any one of theses points and refute it as follows:

-Pick a “teaching” that you know is unBiblical

-Use passages from a NON JW Bible and show why its unBiblical

-Tell why/how the passages they presented are bogus

-Use the OFFICIAL JW BIBLE to refute their “teaching”

-Any JW apologetics source/webpage citation/link is helpful

Think about this task, on that list (42 “teachings”) if we can group together and clearly refute even half of them we can make a huge difference. Some of the issues are hard to refute, but others are weak and should be no problem for us.

We agree with teachings:
1, 7, 8,17,18,19,22,23,27,30,34,36,37,39,42

JW major errors:
4,5,9,12,13,14,16,20,21,24,25

JW minor errors:
6,35,38,40

The rest are questionable.

I guess I will start with #9
9-Christ was raised from the dead as an immortal spirit person 1 Pet. 3:18; Rom. 6:9; Rev. 1:17, 18
This teaching is false because Jesus really was raised in a (immortal) physical body not a “spirit person”:
24 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and place my finger in the mark of the nails, and place my hand in his side, I will not believe.” 26 Eight days later, his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. The doors were shut, but Jesus came and stood among them, and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side; do not be faithless, but believing.”-John20
Thomas was touching a physical body not a phantom.
The JW Bible New World Translation says the same thing:
25 Consequently the other disciples would say to him: “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them: “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails and stick my finger into the print of the nails and stick my hand into his side, I will certainly not believe.” 26 Well, eight days later his disciples were again indoors, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and he stood in their midst and said: “May YOU have peace.” 27 Next he said to Thomas: “Put your finger here, and see my hands, and take your hand and stick it into my side, and stop being unbelieving but become believing.”-Jn20 NWT

As an ex-JW, reading that nauseating nonsense all over again reminded me of how I used to repeat that stuff like a parrot.
