I believe that there is Ultimate Truth, but that we can’t even know it, or how close we come to knowing it. It is bigger than us. We are too limited to know it.
I agree with this. Truth has been revealed to us over time and some Truth we won’t fully experience until we meet face to face.

It is like we are in a dark room and the next room is filled with bright light. If we open the door wide, we will be effectively blinded (at least temporarily).

Hi
Yes, everybody who comes into this world has to die. Jesus died after the event of Crucifixion a natural, peaceful and respectful death in Mohallah Khanyar, at Srinagar, in Kashmir, in India.
So that is the ultimate truth about Jesus, as I believe, others could believe diffrently, no compulsion.
Thanks
And from what Bible and Tradition did this come from?

And this comes from:
First; Word of GodAllahYHWH revealed on PromisedMessiah, who has symbolically come in the SECOND COMING of JESUS.
Second; historic evidences of Buddhist, Hindu and Muslims sources.
Third: clear inferences from Quran and Bible.

The Word of GodAllahYHWH is and had been the first/authentic and primary source of human knowledge whether revealed on Moses/Buddha/Jesus/Muhammad or Mirza Ghulam Ahmad; it is of itself complete and without doubt truthful and requires no external witnessing.

Thanks

Greetings and peace be with you all,

If the greatest commandments are the greatest thing we can do then this must be based on a greatest truth.

In the spirit of searching for a greatest truth

Yes, I believe there is truth, I believe JESUS is the TRUTH but I can’t prove it, no one can, it has to be taken by FAITH without faith it is impossible to PLEASE GOD, we can’t even prove that, the REASON GOD wants to see if we TRUST HIM, the one who said there is no truth DOESN’T trust or have faith in truth, that’s what GOD wants to know, the problem is it is IMPOSSIBLE to prove it anyone, one must be convinced of TRUTH-JESUS inhis own mind because he chooses to believe it, someone else may be convinced in theirown mind of anything else, in my mind I KNOW that JESUS IS and that HE is TRUTH because when push comes to shove, when all chips are down over all sixty years of my life, JESUS has been there when I NEEDED HIM.

Hi

My friend you are mistaken.

There is no blind faith and there is no blind trust.

What a blind man sees, nothing. He only tumbles into a ditch, unless helped by others.

It would be better if your faith is research oriented, based on reasonable, logical and rational arguments. That is firm as a rock. One sees through the inner eyes of reason and knowledge.

You may differ with me, I respect your faith. I love Jesus and Mary

Thanks

The Ethiops say that their gods are flat-nosed and black,
While the Thracians say that theirs have blue eyes and red hair.

Yet if cattle or horses or lions had hands and could draw
And could sculpture like men, then the horses would draw their gods
Like horses, and cattle like cattle, and each would then shape
Bodies of gods in the likeness, each kind, of its own.

The gods did not reveal, from the beginning,
All things to us; but in the course of time,
Through seeking we may learn, and know things better…

These things are, we conjecture, like the truth.

But as for certain truth, no man has known it,
Nor will he know it; neither of the gods,
Nor yet of all the things of which I speak.
And even if by chance he were to utter
The final truth, he would himself not know it:
For all is but a woven web of guesses.

Xenophanes
Is this a denial of ‘the truth’ or a belief that no one has known it?

If there is no truth, then the statement “There is no truth” becomes a paradox - being as it becomes untrue.

One of the first posts in which I agree with you.

Hi

Mary GodAllahYHWH belss you!

Thanks
What are the odds? It had to happen.

I agree that there must be an ultimate truth. A world without truth means how do we know anything about the world.

As the great man said “e pense, donc je suis” (“I think, therefore I am”.)

I stand corrected on my argument Paarsurrey, TRUTH ultimate TRUTH has always been based on LOGIC because JESUS is the LOGOS-WORD OF GOD. Still I began myown research of GOD’S WORD when JESUS first made HIMSELF known to me in desparate circumstances, a beginning of a long journey of researching TRUTH.

For without God there is nothing.
Which opens the philosophical road to a disproof of God:Neither from itself nor from another,
Nor from both,
Nor without a cause,
Does anything whatever, anywhere arise.

Mulamadhyamikakarika 1:1
Relying on causality immediately limits God: cause relies on effect and causality relies on time. God no longer has independent existence and is dependent on time and creation.

Greetings and peace be with you paarsurrey;
Kindly share with us if you have found something of the greatest truth or a glimpse of the same.
I believe there is a way to do this and to test it by searching for a greatest purpose for God to create the universe and life.

I believe there is the need to search for a greatest good answer to three questions, and I have found it easier to approach these questions one at a time.

My conclusions offer a series of thoughts to meditate on; and they only become understandable by challenging them and searching for something greater. I do not believe that I have had any conscious revelations from God. If you choose to continue along this path then search for an answer to:

What is the greatest thing that God can create and why?

In the spirit of searching for a greatest truth

The greatest thing God can create and why?🤷 Would you accept this for an answer. A living soul with free will, because that opens up all sorts of possiblities that He must deal with outside the scope of Hisown will and nature.

Your argument makes no sense to me.

How do you presume the Christian understanding of God is He’s dependent on time and creation? We believe He chose to create us in His love, not because He needed us.

We believe God created time as we understand it. He created all visible and invisible things, but is not subject to either. He’s both outside and inside time and created things.

The only sense in which God is not infinite (if you want to consider this part of it) is that He cannot go against His own nature. God cannot sin.

Hence, this does not limit Him in any way, other than He can’t go against Himself. (And this is fine with me!)

My fault, I gave a very brief explanation.

The Creator cannot be the Creator unless He has actually created something, just as a parent cannot be a parent unless he or she has got children. A Creator without a creation cannot exist, any more than a parent without children. Cause and effect are mutually dependent, just as parents and children and also Creator and creation. A “creator” who has not created anything is a non-creator.

In the absence of time we cannot tell which came first, God or the universe. It is only within time that we can determine which one came first and which one came second. The same is true for any cause-effect pair. We can only tell which is cause and which is effect because both are within time and we label the first one “cause” and the second one “effect”. Hence all cause-effect pairs are dependent on the existence of time. This also applies to the Creator-created pair. Without time we cannot determine which one is which of cause and effect.
We believe God created time as we understand it. He created all visible and invisible things, but is not subject to either. He’s both outside and inside time and created things.
As I said, in the absence of time you cannot tell which was earlier (Creator) and which later (created).
The only sense in which God is not infinite (if you want to consider this part of it) is that He cannot go against His own nature. God cannot sin.
There are lots of things God cannot do. God is omniscient, so God can never learn anything new - He already knows it all. God is omnipresent so God can never move - he is already present at all possible destinations. Every word used to describe God limits God because it prevents God from being described by the opposite of that word. The more you describe God the more you limit Him. I can both move and learn, God cannot.
