The Upright Person

In the bible the prophets would often describe the attributes of an upright person. Now I think I understand, perhaps, what is meant by an upright person. In the world, what is just, is often deemed unsocial or criminal. I guess the same was true in biblical times. So in the modern world describe something that is upright when the world says it isn’t.
  1. The upright person abhors abortion but the evil person cares nothing for the unborn.
 
  1. The wise man considers the judgement of God but a fool follows his own concupiscence.
 
  1. A righteous person is discreet but the whispers of the malicious are abundant.
 
  1. A person who adheres to divine principles lifts his heart to God but the one who harbors hatreds becomes vicious.
