If you mean during the Mass, look up the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM).

Ceremonies of the Modern Roman Rite is the book you’re looking for. Incense is only one aspect of the ceremonial of course so you probably won’t find a book just on incensing. But incensing should be included here in its fullness.

Chapter 4, Ceremonial Actions >> Incensation would be the pertinent section.

Then just buy some and burn it at home. Just make sure you extinguish it before you leave home.
My mum sometimes did this some years back, she usually brought and blessed incense and used them in small quantities at evening
ight prayer.

You can buy a hundred sticks of incense for like $8 on amazon.
Real frankincense isn’t that expensive either. I bought some of the real stuff on a trip to Greece and bought back a good amount to last at least a few years. Nearly every Sunday since then, my basement smells like a Greek Orthodox church.

(also, it’s tough to beat the combined scent of frankincense and beeswax smoke at the end of prayer).
