The Use of Scripture in the Roman Rite of the Mass

Look up a verse to determine when it is used at Mass:
The Use of Scripture in the Roman Rite of the Mass

It includes the Entrance Antiphons (most priests seem to replace this with a hymn), 1st Readings, Responsorial Psalms, 2nd Readings (if any), Alleluia Verses (called the Verse before the Gospel during Lent), the Gospel, the Communion Antiphons (again, usually replaced with a hymn), and other things such as the other Readings of the Easter Vigil.

Right now it covers all of the Sundays and weekdays of the Liturgical Year. Still to be added are the Common Masses (Common of Martyrs, Common of Pastors, etc.), the Ritual Masses (Conferral of Marriage), the Votive Masses, and then finally the Feast Days.

I will then go through the Psalms and verify the chapter and verse. I believe that some use the Hebrew numbering and some use the Greek. I will make sure they all use the Hebrew numbering with the Greek following in parenthesis (if different).

When all of that is completed I will add a 3rd column on the right side covering the use of Scripture in the Mass of Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.

There have been multiple times that I have wished for something like this. But, I have been unable to find anything complete. So, I decided to put it together myself. I would be very interested in comments, suggestions, and criticisms.

Interesting to learn that the Book of Obadiah is not read at all. Perhaps it would be helpful to have an explanation, like you posted above, on the page itself. I looked at the source HTML code for the page. It does not have, things like:

Yes. I found it interesting as well. I am betting that it will show up somewhere though - possibly in one of the Votive Masses or on a Feast Day.

Judith does not appear either. But, I know that is at least used in the Common Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary and on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadelupe. I will add those eventually.

That never crossed my mind. I will add something. I may wait until I am a bit closer to being finished. I am not too interested in actively promoting it until then.
