Yes, just because a text isn’t fully open to you yet doesn’t mean that it isn’t entirly not for you.A 1000 years ago people read Revalations. Wasn’t it addressed to them as well?

I don’t know and I don’t care, what I do know and do care about that my concern is the state of my soul at this moment and every moment of my life, so that I may be ready with my lamp trimmed when He does call me.Hmm, the end… when He shall come on clouds…
How do you think it will happen?
When?

As much as I love speculating on this (hey it’s fun), as well as what will happen. I think this what is stated here is truely the best framework for actually living your life.I don’t know and I don’t care, what I do know and do care about that my concern is the state of my soul at this moment and every moment of my life, so that I may be ready with my lamp trimmed when He does call me.
What is that supposed to mean?Yes, just because a text isn’t fully open to you yet doesn’t mean that it isn’t entirly not for you.
Is it fair to say the Old Testament is/was “for the Jews”?What is that supposed to mean?
Ok, well, good luck with that.Is it fair to say the Old Testament is/was “for the Jews”?
Is it fair to say it wasn’t (perhaps still isn’t to current Jews) them?
I don’t mind being persecuted at all…I’m 50/50 on the idea. Of course I like the idea of being here to (?) be caught up and meet the lord (?) when he comes for the second and final time. But of course getting to that point means enduring the anti-christ to the end. So one the one hand you have the applealing aspects of being there to meet christ, on the other the rather unappealing aspect of having to “endure to the end” the persecutions of the anit-christ which well… would be at least as bad (I gather) as what the early Christians endured.
What denomination are you?Is it fair to say the Old Testament is/was “for the Jews”?
