Hi everyone
My second post on this forum, my first being in the meet and greet section.
I joined this forum because of a dream I had on Sunday which I really can’t get out of my mind since.
I am not Christian, I am from a Sikh family - although I have never really immersed myself as to a full pledging Sikh. I’ve always been open to other religions and their views on God and life. I find it all quite intriguing.
I’ll get right down to business then
In this dream, I was standing in a large field - an open field, just land, nothing else around me like mountains etc. Just land.
In the distance I saw this bright purple light and noticed that it was coming towards me - and I kept my focus on it thinking what is it? The light got closer and closer. As it was around 10-15 meters away from me I realised that it was not just a light, it was a person - and this person was the Virgin Mary!
I cannot describe the feeling I experienced at the exact moment I realised who it was. It was some kind of blend between fear and euphoria.
As the Virgin Mary got to about 5 meters in front of me, I dropped to my knees and put my hands in front of me and begged for her acceptance.
I said to Her, “I’m not Christian, but I do believe in a God, and I beg you to accept me”.
Without any hesitance Her reply was “I accept you”.
She had a smile on her face the entire time, even before I was spoke. She had this sense of calm and peace about her. So full of love. When Mary said she accepted me, she began to show affection and hugged me as a mother would hug her young child.
This dream left me quite shocked, and I spoke to my best mates who are Roman Catholics. I spoke to them separately and everyone of them said the same thing. That it was a sign, and that there was a reason to as why Mary visited me in a dream. They said that it’s unbelievable that I had a dream like that and that most Catholics would give anything to experience such a dream in their lifetime.
I’ve never ever had a religious-related dream, and I find myself seeking answers as to why I had that dream, what was the purpose of her visiting me?
I’ve contemplated perhaps becoming a Catholic, however, I did say that I was not Christian and she still said she accepted me.
I would love to hear your opinions on this, and thanks in advance.
Cheers, Roopy.
