And, as he says, we should keep OTCA in our prayers. He used the word ‘bizzare’ in his response. I might not have been so charitable if it had been my work.

You actually have to read and study if you want to learn, that way you can develop your own thoughts and arguements rather than stooping so low as to just copy someone elses work and passing it off as your own

I’ll reread your post again in case I missed it, but I don’t seem to have read an apology from you to Dave or the board here for your blatent theft.

You have ZERO credibility as a catholic and an apologist - you need all of our prayers whether you like it or not. Your attitude, ignorance, and severe lack of knowledge regarding your own faith (look back through all the threads and you’ll see where I and others have had to correct the misinformation you spread about your own church) actually serves to put people off ever exploring the Catholic church.

I’m quite lucky - I’m mature enough to know the church is made up of imperfect people, so someone like you wouldn’t actually put me off exploring the faith further - but it’s been highlighted to you many times in tons of threads you’re a very bad example of what it is to be catholic, and I think it’s time you took some of that advice on board

Now read very carefully what I am about you say - this is not about being anti-Catholic. This is about being honest and forthright in apologetics and defense of the faith - Protestant or Catholic alike. If you are quoting someone else, cite your source. Always. To not cite your source is to say that you are saying it, not someone else. In this case, you did a grave injustice to Dave Armstrong, a respected Catholic apologist. And, in my opinion, you owe him a public apology, since you plagiarized him in public.

When I corrected you about your misunderstanding that the catholic church recognises the Orthodox church as having valid sacraments and full apostolic succession, your response was along the lines of I’m not a catholic so I have no say in it

Neither. It is the dishonest practice of plagiarism that is troubling, especially from a person who claims to be Catholic.

No one is judging, or condemning you. That is God’s purview. What we are doing is telling your that your actions are inappropriate and offensive. You have violated the law, and the forum rules.
