K, I’ll start …

Today’s Episode: “Church vs. Empire 03-03”

Well, Michael Voris hits the nail on the head once again.

The Dem’s of the “Empire” state (NY State) are taking aim at Catholic hospitals.

And one of the things Michael talks about is that “the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church”.

Noticing the history of our Church … it may take that to turn around the current ebb of evil that is growing in our society.

Are we up to it?

God, give us strength …

Today’s Episode: “The “Other” Catholic Church 03-04”
realcatholictv.net/daily/vort.php

Michael Voris hits upon the subject of dissident lay “catholic” groups.

John Kerry, as he points out, had no major lay Catholic group to support his false claim of having been a good Catholic.

But Barry Soetoro (aka, Obama) had such a group. But the people belonging to this organization are Catholic in name only.

“Catholics In Alliance For The Common Good” is a front group for dissident “catholic” pro-abortionists. And the media, looking to hype the pro-baby killing Barry, chose this group for a “catholic” view on his deceitful rhetoric.

And as we now see, it worked. Many “catholics” were made the fool.

Mr. Voris points out that dissident “catholic” theologians got away with assisting to help ruin the Church, and now the dissident lay “catholic” groups are gaining ground to do the same.

Have the bishops of the world learned their lesson?

I hope so. But so far, I’ve yet to see any evidence to that effect …

Today’s Episode: "Kmiec’s no Catholic 03-05"
realcatholictv.net/daily/vort.php

**“Professor Doug Kmiec” **
(??Catholic??)
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d9/Kmiec.jpg/180px-Kmiec.jpg

Michael Voris explains today how Mr. Kmiec voted for California’s Prop 8 (supporting Traditional Marriage) “because of the instructions of my faith community”.

But he also responded that he was “entirely unsatisfied” with the outcome of that vote (it passed).

Mr. Voris is right to say how people like him want to recreate the Catholic Church in their own image.

When in the heck is our unsupervised Catholic Church in the good 'ol US of ***A ***going to wake up to the incoherent ramblings of these “clueless catholics”?

These ne’er-do-well’s are not only themselves confused about what it means to be a real Catholic, but they also take down other misguided Catholics with them into the Liberal Cesspools of Hell.

Pope Benedict was right when he said that the future of the worldwide Catholic Church would be a smaller, more faithful Church.

One that will most probably be without the types of those like Mr. Kmiec …

Thanks FF!! This is an awesome thread - even if I am slightly biased! 😉

The Vortex is awesome - even if I don’t have time to check out my usual blogs, news sites, and other Catholic news sources, I always make sure I check out the news and Vortex.

👍

As for today’s installment - I have to say that it is horribly sad to see what some women who consider themselves “married to Christ” have to say about the Church, her priests, bishops, and even her pope. I can only pray that the wonderful young women here on CA who are discerning the religious life can undo some of the damage in their own generation.

Hi Liza!

Yes, RealCatholcTV says what other Catholics are either afraid to say or aren’t even aware they should be saying.

RCTV rocks. 👍

I see your comment has to do with the Vortex episode “Nun too much - 03/06”.

As Mr. Voris reported, the number of nuns in this country has been reduced by 70%, and their average age is in the 70’s.

The outlook is bleak.

But those are the bad fruits that are generated when “catholics” begin embracing the New Age and become disobedient/disinterested in the Teachings of Holy Mother Church.

I think this reading from Galatians explains the cause of the near death of our religious orders:

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;
for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
We reap what we sow.

I just wanted to post my sincere APPROVAL for Real Catholic TV. This on-line source is a valued tool for my faith formation. Of course, Catholic Answers is ALWAYS a great resource as well.

Last month I was playing around on youtube and found a bunch of videos from a group called “Real Catholic TV”. I don’t know alot about them, but I love to watch their videos! These guys do a great job defending the faith and I wish we had one hundred thousand more groups like them out there in digital land and OUR PARISHES!!! It is refreshing to hear strong men stand up and defend the Church without using a bunch of political correct talk. These are not wimpy liberal types and they tell it like it is.
I went to their website and signed up for the free news letter. Now I recieve e-mails to my black berry from their website with links to new videos they post on youtube. I recieve a new video e-mail every other day and they usually only last about 3 to 4 minutes.
Just thought I would pass this along, so you guys can check them out.

I’ve been so tempted to do something on Youtube… I might check these guys out. There’s too much antitheistic cobblers on there…

Yeah, RealCatholic TV is based in my neck of the woods (Detroit suburbs) and they are staunch defenders of the Church!

Some people think they’re a little over-the-top – let’s just say that they sometimes seem more conservative than EWTN. That’s not bad, mind you – I love it – I’m just giving you the various opinions out there. (It’s not like they are pro-SSPX, or that Vatican II was wrong; nothing like that.)

So I say go for it. Watch their videos and spread the word!

These guys do extensive research and cross checks, very professional group.👍

This is the best source of good information on the Church that exists today,.

I have been watching for about six months. The stories they have uncovered in the past few weeks are great. They may help with a renewal in our church. I know my parish could use a good sanitizing. We have a very deceptive pastor and leadership that have installed liberalism - complete.

The Vortex gives me hope. I will be able to fight the spiritual battle, with their inspiring material.

Just think of this. If we stop giving to the CCHD, and donate instead to RealCatholicTV, we could make a difference.

Regards,

I don’t watch the videos ordinarily, but at least one time they messed up. In December, Voris released a video decrying a lesbian consultant at the USCCB. But it turns out the source of his information was an old, outdated webpage on the USCCB site. The woman had been a union representative on a health care committee, but she left that committee, and any association with the USCCB, in 2006.

I’ve seen less than a half dozen of these video presentations .
I wish my entire parish could see them. Not that we sin any better than other Catholics but these messages really make a person think. Messages like the ones I’ve seen are great for everyone, especially if you’re finding yourself becoming lukewarm.

I discovered RealCatholicTV just earlier this week, when I watched a couple of videos discussing the unholy relationship of Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) to ACORN and George Soros’ Open Society Institute, after a friend sent me an e-mail alert. I was glad that I didn’t drop a dime into the collection basket for CCHD a week ago, and based on what I learned from Michael Voris after the fact, I never will. RealCatholicTV is a great resource for information that we may not hear from the pulpit in our respective churches.👍

One very great exception to this is the group of Dominican nuns in Michigan that are bursting at the seems and most of them are quite young.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrian_Dominican_Sisters. Also the group in Nashville that leads the nation in newcomers. · www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/dominican_sisters_to_ap
