I am a new graduate and was forced to move out of her home due to long-time psychological abuse. Currently jobless, living on a friend’s couch, in bad health, and in need of therapy. I applied for a few part-time jobs to start with, and am waiting to hear back. Pray that I am get the most advantageous job so I can get on my feet and start recovery.

Praying for you to obtain the most suitable employment that will help you obtain your goal of getting back on your feet and to start recovery. May the Holy Spirit be with you during this time of change and give you strength.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon TOBaddict in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.

Still job searching. Applied to about 15 places. Got 2 interviews, but got nothing even after following up. 😦

Two more interviews this week. Hopefully, one of these will be the one!
 
UPDATE: My one interview went really well! She and I really hit it off and I’d be a great fit for the company. Please pray that I am offered this job-- I desperately need it.
