The way some people believe in their faith really amazes me!

I thought i would start this thread to congratulate our regular posters Sam and Morning star and how they live in mostly islamic countries are able to remain pure in heart and love our Lord Jesus.
Who else comes here and also lives in a mainly dominated part of their country where another faith is the majority and you remain faithful to Christ?
I pray for you and i love the way you remain faithful to Jesus

I’m Orthodox and live in a mostly Charismatic/Evangelical state…does that count? 😛

Actually it should, if it doesn’t. Living and practicing your faith in an area of religious tension almost qualifies you as a martyr, I would think. 🙂

Well I don’t think I’m ever going to get martyred, but it’s difficult to walk into the First Grapevine Free Will Fundamentalist African Methodist Episcopal Church and start talking about the Desert Fathers. 😃

I also applaud the courage to practice Christian faiths in Islamic countries.

I fear that if I were in the same situation, I would be utterly terrified.

Those who do truly are commendable, and do meet the parameters of martyrs, I surmise.

Keep your faiths strong, guys.

careful byzantine…they may try to burn you with all the unauthorized bibles next holloween. that is if they can get the fire started and the Good Lord doesnt rain them out! lol!😃

I second that! But what happened to InJesus?

I too am Orthodox just like B.Wolf and live in a mostly Presbyterian, Baptist and Evangelical town. 😃

There is 1 Catholic church per town with services on Saturday afternoon & on Sunday mornings only.

Our little town is so old (1600’s) and not too many people living here that there is Presbyterian Chapel and for the very few Jews living here the same chapel turns into a Synagogue. 😛 No kidding folks!!!
