This feast is so important nowadays. Sadly my parish couldn’t do the outdoor procession, but hopefully it will resume next year.
We live in a time when religion is often reduced to a system of social ethics: be kind to others, support equality, reduce conflict, etc. All well and good but we’ve lost our sense of the Incarnation.
Young adult Catholics see no reason not to switch over to a non denominational chapel that gas better speakers, better music, etc. They don’t notice Anyone missing.
