The Wooden Cross and Watchtower Against Muslim Raiders

I would like to share with you pictures of a place in my country (the Philippines) where a watchtower and a cross were used in tandem to protect from Muslim raiders and marauders.

Legend has it that the tower’s wooden cross has supposedly exerted miraculous powers in repelling raiders from the sea.
