The Word is the Truth

In Hebrews chapter 8: 5, the author of Hebrews says they worshipped in a copy.

The Word was shown to Moses on the Mount Sinai, the copy was the tabernacle and all the other things. Is not the original the Word or the Truth? Is the original the Word? Is the copy the tabernalce?

Please forgive my inability in asking these questions. I did the best that I could.

The Jews did not have the fulness of revelation, but they were told to worship as they had been instructed. They worshipped in the tabernacle as we Catholics worship at Mass, the closest thing to heaven we experience on earth, before we die and get there.

No one should be bored at Mass, as it is such a great picture of heaven, with God in our midst.

At a spiritual level of understanding the Nativity of Christ was also a picture of heaven, with the twelve tribes reassembled for the only time in history (for the census) with Jesus in their midst, and angels singing overhead.

In Mass we celebrate the glory of God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that we hope to celebrate eternally in heaven.
