Hi All,

Were any of these regimes very rational? Were they too desirous of evidence in support of their core beliefs? It seems to me that the solution to all this is to foster a taste for evidence rather than take things on faith.

Yea Mao Zedong is up there, a max of 180,000. These are tragedies but can’t compare to America’s murders-thats the point of the post. Even notorious Hitler falls short with 6 million.
Hitler was ultimately responsible for the deaths of 20 million Russians (soldiers and civilians), and he had ‘plans’ for the Slavs that would outdo any of the massacres mentioned.

Pointing out the atrocities of others, in no way excuses us for our embracing a culture of death as a nation. We only have to look at what happened to other nations to see where we are heading. If we as a nation do not reject the culture of death, we will be a footnote in history. Pray for this nation as you have never prayed before.

Don’t forget about all the countless abortions caused by embryonic stem cell research, the morning after pill, illicit fertility treatments, and abortifacient birth control methods! Just because we can’t see them doesn’t mean they’re not people too!

rational under their own set of rules.
