THE SEVEN YEAR SWITCH hit the top of the worst realty shows on TV for me this week. Has anyone seen it?

In order to “save” the marriages of two couples, the producers through so-called professionals like psychologists or maybe marriage counselors have the couples switch spouses for two weeks. Now the “new” spouses have traits which the others find lacking in their legal spouses. So this experiment will give them the time to enjoy those things but maybe they’ll see some downers and start thinking that the person they’ve left isn’t so bad after all. So they live with the new ones, do fun things, laugh it up, talk about their problems etc. and OH a requirement is they sleep in the same bed!!!

Points to the women on the show because all, I think, refused to share the bed.

Amazing that there are people who conjure up this stuff and push it off as such a sophisticated way of solving marital problems. And conjure is the perfect word for this because it means to summon up an evil spirit.

I think you mean reality - not realty. I have not seen the show.

I think its sad so many people actually believe all these shows are real, but I guess it goes to show people will believe anything they hear on tv.

NONE of these reality shows are real, ALL the people are actors, and everything is scripted, right down to the color of the socks people are wearing, even those cop shows, like ‘to catch a pedophile’ that was popular years ago…it was fake, they were actors. I remember reading about this awhile back, apparently one of the ‘predators’ in this show was later seen in an unrelated product commercial, and the whole thing was busted.

There is NO way any producer would allow a true reality show to air, they would have no way of knowing what would happen, what they would say or do, everything on tv is highly scripted and I mean EVERYTHING.

Sorry, but I know a family that was on reality TV and the family was real and still is. What the producers wanted was conflict. They encouraged that.
