I went into an international supermarket today and among my shopping bought two deoderant sticks on special offer for £4.50 for two $8].

When I got home on checking my shopping bill, discovered they had scanned through at 1p each [just under two cents].

Am I guilty of theft?

Would it be wrong to go back and buy some more in the hope they too will scan through at such a bargain price?

Theft requires intent. You did not intend to steal anything or knowingly prey on their computer mistake. You are not obligated to point out their mistake, but it would be the right thing to do.

Once I got home and realized that the clerk did not ring up my bottled water properly (which was on the bottom of my cart) and the next time I went in to buy more water, I paid for the other water-- I had her ring up 2 waters.

Yes.

What you should do is call them and let them know of their computer error.
