I have a question for anyone who holds to theistic evolution. How do we reconcile the animals being vegetarians and not dying until after the flood? Please only theistic evolutionists. I’m discussing this with a protestant who believes in creationism and could use some help

Evolution is currently the only banned topic on this forum.

Hmm… I wonder whether the question might be asked in a way that does not violate the ban.

In other words, rather than a discussion on the merits of evolution – which is what tends to lead to heated threads – the question is raised only in the abstract. That is, without discussing whether theistic evolution is true or not, is it still verboten to ask the question “how do those who hold to theistic evolution ‘reconcile animals being vegetarians and not dying until after the flood’?”

Would that be an acceptable way to approach the question, I wonder?

I would challenge his assumption: where does he get the idea that all the animals were vegetarians and not dying?

For general information. Animals, vegetarians or not, died before the flood. No reconciliation needed. 😃

I guess he assumes that you wouldn’t have a lion eating a gazelle alive before the fall. All that screaming, pain and blood…

Now now good Bradski, you and I were not invited to discuss this here…😉

FWIW…all of my threads begun on this subject were locked…

Yes I hope the moderators keep this thread up and please I would like if only theistic evolutionists respond. I guess if you’re strictly an unguided evolutionist and you wanted to reference any scientific evidence to refute some creationist claims then be my guest. The moderators hopefully will keep this thread up as its rather than asking for an open discussion about the topic in general, its more me using this forum as an apologetic tool to refute specific claims
