When a soul enters Heaven, it is greeted like a king who has conquered evil, like how Jesus entered Jerusalem: with praise to God for salvation, with salutations to the soul, with shouts of joy, with angels singing a song about the soul’s life and triumph.
Just as the Divine Liturgy is a reflection of the Heavely Liturgy, so too, the holy person is a reflection of the Divine Liturgy. For his body is the Temple or Church, his soul is the Altar or Throne, Jesus reigns as King in the soul just as He reigns on the wood of the Cross and on the Holy Altar, and the angels and saints are with Him with the person just as they are with Him at Mass. And the soul’s life is like the Liturgy: He proclaims the Word by example and word and he feeds the hungry and quenches the thirsty with his own body and blood by proclaiming the Word and by doing acts of mercy, even to the point of death.
The Scriptures were created to bring world peace. Ultimately, this was fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the Word Incarate, who reconciled mankind to the Father, bringing peace between man and God and it is from this peace that every type of peace comes.
Jesus lived by the Law, because the Law is Love, Love is the Law. Obedience to the Law is Strength. It is His Strength, His Omnipotence. He is willing to give us this Omnipotence in exchange for our weakness if we obey Him. This is exemplified in the saints, who only through the Goodness of God were able to accomplish what they did. God’s Omnipotence was enough to support them. This is further exemplified in the promises which God made to Israel if Israel obeyed Him. Obedience to the Law is Strength and the Law is Love, God. Because Love is God, God is Love, no one can change the Law into whatever they wish.
