Something else to keep in mind as well, the church considers that everyone who is baptized in the proper form, is baptized into the catholic church. Baptism initiates you into the body of Christ on earth, His Church. Which happens to be the catholic church. When you are baptized (in the proper form), you aren’t baptized into just the baptist church, or methodist, or lutheran, etc. You’re baptized into THE church as a whole. Baptism inducts you into Christ’s church, which is the Catholic Church. Thus, the church accepts baptism in the proper form whether it was done in a catholic church or in a baptist, lutheran, methodist, etc church.
Now, it’s what you do after baptism that decides whether or not you remain in the one true church. And because the church views all properly baptized people as belonging to Christ’s one true church, it makes it easier for people of other faiths to come into the catholic church.
