Theory i found interesting

Not sure if this is the right place for this but here is a quote from a book i am reading:

The book takes place during the Crusades and (probably realistically for the times) portrays the Church as quiet corrupt. But i would still recommend it.

But what do you guys think about that

Not true. The Agony in the Garden shows that Jesus accepted the Father’s will.

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Back then, Jewish children had to memorize the Old Law. One of the ways this was done was by the Rabbi saying part of a verse, then the students would follow with the rest of the verse and passage.

Jesus was quoting Psalm 22 (21 if you use the DRB). All the Jews around the cross would immediately have the rest of it come to mind. This psalm is filled with prophetic details about Jesus’ Passion. But it ends on a triumphant note. Go read it, and see just what Jesus was saying!
