I am a Catholic teenager who has been doing a lot of studying on angels, demons, fae creatures and mythological creatures. I’ve had a difficult time finding reliable information (I seemed to wear out my library) and recently asked a friend where I might find some info. She told me that the Theosophical Library by our school might have some good stuff. I’ve heard from some people that it’s very dangerous to so much as step foot in that place and others say that I should be wary but it’s not like I’ll become possessed. So I was wondering, what exactly is the Theosophical society? What are their beliefs?

There is no need to go there. You will find very dense plagarized works by Blavatsky and her associates. She is eclectic blend of Hinduism, Gnostic beliefs, the Occult, and assorted mystery religions.
She had almost no originality to her. You can find your interests on the net…although I find some of them a gateway into areas best left for Christians to stay away from my young friend. Have a restful weekend.
