Welcome to the forum!

Do you mean there are only three possibilities: belief in God, agnosticism or Buddhism?

If that is what he is saying, then Archon I suggest you read G.K. Chesterton Everlasting Man and Orthodoxy. He too came to your same conclusion and dealt with each possibility very elegantly.

sorry I was messing with this question.

Its not meant to make any sense.

My apologies.

my apologies.

it was just I’ve been judged harshly and hastily on here a number of times with my genuine posts and I wanted to treat you like it.

My apologies again:)

I just wanted to see if you would say I was starting in the middle when I asked this.

Might there be universe, or not knowing about Buddha? Ontology is only God.

Except that Chesterton had no understanding whatever of Buddhism.

Many of Chesterton’s attitudes actually fit pretty well with Buddhism. The problem was that he only knew Eastern religions through the Theosophist fog. And he was influenced for the worse by Belloc’s Eurocentric chauvinism.
