I have copied below a statement from a Catholic Priest’s website. Does anyone have any knowledge of this event?

There was an actual plot in the Theological Commission at Vatican 11 to cut down the power of the Pope. The plotters had designed several lines to work into chapter 3 of Lumen Gentium. The Holy Spirit was attentive and one of the plotters lost the paper. A Bishop found it and it made its way to Pope Paul V1 who is said to have wept when he read it. Consequently–we have a “Preliminary Explanitory Note” at the end of rather than the beginning of Lumen Gentium. It carefully counters point by point the very things the plotters had tried to put over.

This is just one example of people in high places being influenced by evil.

Sorry! I have tried to find on the Vatican website this last part of the post, but was unable to. Maybe someone can point it to me?
