Fun. I looked them up on YouTube. For anyone interested, here is one of their songs. It’s in Spanish.

I don’t know why, but watching a bunch of nuns in habits do almost anything is heartwarming and cute. 😄

Thank you so much for finding that. I briefly looked… I should have looked in Spanish maybe.

Moved to Catholic news where I orgiinally meant it.

I wouldn’t call their music “rock” exactly, it’s very pop. But it’s cool nonetheless, as long as none of them end up like The Singing Nun did.

I especially like the sister playing the drums. I’ve seen a lot of nun guitar players and piano players, but a drummer nun is a first for me.

I find it funny that One of the most influential female singers in Rock-Heavy Metal-Many other styles has been so influential over the last 23-24 years that some Nuns are copying the underground Rock -Heavy Metal scene she helped pioneer.

THE GENTLE STORM - Heart Of Amsterdam (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
Thanks for that. I listened to The Gentle Storm some. I do know, Netherlands has made a lot of contributions to rock and pop music.

The nuns sound pretty generic “Christian Rock” to me. I think they’re talented but I also don’t think they’re copying anyone, nor from a musical standpoint do I see any “pioneering” style in any of this.
