These passages scare me: please help

Could mean a number of things, such as “don’t think that you’re not able to turn away from God anymore”. But whatever those passages may mean, they don’t mean what you first asked about.

A number of the saints suffered from it as well so you’re in good company (St. Therese, St. Francis, St. Ignatius, and St. Alphonsus who is patron of moral theologians).
