Please pray that my mom and a few more others would realize that they are being poisoned by my sister into hating/disliking a certain person. That they wouldn’t believe the character assassination and lies she tells them. She does this so that they would hate this person too, like she does. I have requested and asked for advice regarding my sister, whom we consider to be an emotional vampire. We have talked among ourselves not to let believe everything she says, but now I see they are. We’re already very familiar with her attitude and behavior, and yet it still happens.

Lord Jesus, please thwart whatever evil plans this sibling of mine has. Make all of them fail, may she never succeed in poisoning and demonizing others, especially my family members. May she have a true conversion of heart through the merits of Your immense suffering and Your most Precious Blood. Send Your Holy Spirit upon us and give us wisdom, to discern what is true and what is false, and to detect ill-intentioned plans so that we would not fall prey to them ever.
 
May the Holy Spirit assist and guide you and all members of your family as you grow in love, work towards peace, and be free from needless anxiety.

If your family knows your sister is not trustworthy they should know better than to follow her down this path. Frankly, they need to change their reactions to her, and until they do she will continue to have this power over them.

Work on changing your responses to her, versus trying to change your sister. That is bound to have a greater effect. Have you confronted your family in this current situation and asked them just why they are falling into her trap? If not, you should.

I did warn them. I know that we can’t change others, they have it to desire it themselves. They think that I’m just being sensitive and doing this because I dislike her. It’s hard, because my mom said, well what’s the point of my being religious (it’s not like I said that I was perfect) if my behavior and attitude is bad? So now they’re making it to be my fault. Please pray that the truth would come out soon, if not today. There’s a lack of peace and harmony in our home and I’m tired of it.

Lord Jesus, thwart the ill intentioned plans of L., Sh, J, G, in causing the discord in our home. Help them realize the evil they are doing, and remove all toxic entities in our home. Cover all of us with Your most Precious Blood and grant us the grace of conversion. Convert them from anger, vindictiveness, malice, envy, sloth, and just plain misery. They are doing this because they’re miserable and unhappy. Lord Jesus, do not let them get away with it, because the rest of the household is negatively affected. Do not let harm come down upon us.

If they are Christian/catholic, they should be aware that someone who is constantly engaging in calumny and detraction and shows hateful behaviour is not a moral person in general. Therefore they would have reason to doubt what is being said, or at least understand that lies would also be present. A follower of Christ does not engage in these things. Of course, your family may find themselves influenced by this person against their better judgement, but I would think that they could step back and realise objectively that the influence is wrong. People can be manipulative, and the first thing to do is to recognise the manipulation. But a close knowledge of Christ’s law should help when discerning. I think there is also the issue of clouded judgement which occurs due to personal sin (apparently).

Lord Jesus, please bring peace and harmony into our household. I ask for the removal of toxic entities. As You very well know, there’s still the unnecessary fault finding, squabbling, what have you that I’m sick and tired of. This morning I wanted to be happy and peaceful while preparing for work. This person brings up something that I don’t even want to hear about (here we go again), and she tells me that I should be more cheerful and less cranky? How can I be less cranky if you’re the one who went first? Here I was, keeping quiet and fixing my stuff, then here we go again talking about this!! Lord Jesus, please convert her heart! Please convert their hearts, and mine too! It seems not a days passes without me getting annoyed or irritated by someone or somebody at home. :rolleyes:

Lord Jesus, I surrender myself to You! Take care of everything!
