They were Roman Catholics!!

Lately, I was so curious to here the stories of people who reverted to Islam. When I wrote in Youtube “convert/revert to Islam” I was amazed with the amount of videos that I saw about those people who reverted to Islam. I started watching those videos and I was surprised about something that is related to Roman Catholic people. Believe it or not, most of the people who reverted to Islam were Roman Catholics!!

Maybe this is due to the fact that the Roman Catholic people are good Christians who really seek the truth from God?!

Actually, I watched two videos that I liked them a lot, and I would like to share them with you if there is no problem 🙂

Do you expect us to give links about Muslims turning to Christ? 🙂 many Muslims think they can achieve something by these posts but usually people don’t care much since we all know Muslims are converting to Christianity even among the Saudi ummah so giving links is meaningless…it’s a waste of energy…just wanted to point it out…welcome to CAF.
 
What would be the connection actually? I dont see it. Is there a connection with atheism and Roman Catholics? Maybe. I am an example of it.

Not necessarily. But as a Muslim I have duty towards my Islam.

Do Roman Catholics agree that they have more common things with atheism than Islam?!!

From my understanding of atheism that these people do not believe in God, do not believe in Paradise and Hell, and do not believe in the prophets and the holy books!

What connections are you referring to?!:rolleyes:

No, I think you misunderstood me. I am a non christian that was raised by athiests and never cared about God my whole life up until recently. There are others who went from athiesm to Roman Catholic. So what? There is no connection was my point.🙂

Since the Vatican has the largest percentage of Christians, the statistics are good that it might have the most reverts.

Or it could be, because it’s the biggest, Muslims would sqawk the loudest about a revert from that communion.

Do we have the stats on which communion most Muslims are entering the Church through?

I read somewhere that the Eastern Orthodox have gained more for Christ by reaping the fields of harvest amoung the muslims who are truly knowing they are missing out on Christ.
And, Eastern Orthodox are a smaller group. Working smarter, not harder I guess.

I don’t know about that. I do know that every Copt (I am not Copt but Arab) I know, knows at least one Muslim who has converted.

I will say that I have found no finer Christians worthy of the name than the Copts of Egypt.

There could be a connection there, no?😛

Given that over one in six of the world’s people are Catholic, it doesn’t surprise me that a large number of converts to Islam would be former Catholics. But what accounts for the 99.999% of Catholics who learn a lot about Islam but choose to stay Catholic? These are not a bit less seeking the truth from God - the difference being they recognise it in Catholicism.

What about the many people - for example in Spain at the time of the Reconquista - who lived cheek-by-jowl with Muslims and not only DIDN’T convert, but were made all the more determined by their exposure to Islam to instead snatch the Muslims away from the false religion of Islam at all costs?

I have to take your word on it. I never met one. Of course, today I am off to a Greek Orthodox festival to eat and have fun. I will see how they are. And, I am dressed appropriately to view the church inside also (they have a tour).
I do know that JW’s have a growing number of them in their ranks because its not even a christian denomination to begin with, and its an easier transition for them. (I saw that mentioned on a protestant forum)
 
I watched a few minutes of it, and it was so boring I had to stop.

Now lets get the percentages that converted because the married a muslim, and also the ones that revert back to Catholicism, which by the way is 75% coming back home to Jesus…
You probably only are left with 10% who converted because they were lured into islam under false pretenses.
Now, its my duty to Jesus to evangelize as well, lets look at the stats of Muslims coming to Christianity as well, they estimate 6 million a year in Africa alone.
They convert because they have found the TRUTH. Not because they married, not because they are lured under false pretenses.
In Christianity, we dont lie, we tell the truth and what we believe from the word go. Ive seen evidence of muslims lying to get people to join. Now ask yourself this, what is a truer religion, one that allows lying, or doesnt allow lying?
I think you know the answer to that, which by this fact alone, proves that Christianity is the true religion. 😉
 
These kinds of threads and arguments are really not useful. Faith is not a matter of numbers, even though some think it is. God’s Word is still His Word, whether two or two billion follow it. Islam is still Islam, regardless of how many follow it.

No doubt many Christians leave their faith for Islam, and it perhaps says something about the quality of their understanding of both faiths, or the teaching they received by those entrusted to teach them in their original faith. But of course it works both ways. All of the people who provided testimonies at this link were once Muslims, but are now Christians. People do change their faiths. What that “means” depends on if you’re on the losing or gaining side - and we both are on each side simultaneously.

Please heed a friendly admonition… if you’re really interested in the truth forever, you’re currently heading in the wrong direction.

Of course if they revert to Catholocism in a muslim country they are likely to have theri head cut off…
