Hello,
I don’t know if you can remember my thread about a young married couple who had seperated. Well, they were together for about 4 or 5 years before getting married, married for about 6 months then seperated. The bride now has a new boyfriend (he was friends with the groom…not anymore) and they’re starting their dirvorce.
This should have been their first Valentines day as a married couple, instead the groom is left heartbroken and the bride (who is also sad it didn’t work out) is with her new boyfriend. She said she wants to have a party when the divorce is finalised to celebrate it being over.
It just makes me so sad.
Please pray for them.
God bless

This is so sad my dear friend.I am keeping them in my prayers and hoping they will
have a change of heart for Gods will.God blessx

TO SAINT GERARD MAJELLA
FOR SPECIAL INTENTIONS
Almighty and loving Father,
I thank you for giving St. Gerard to us
as a most appealing model and powerful friend.
By his example,
he showed us how to love and trust You.
You have showered many blessings
on those who call upon him.
For Your greater glory and my welfare,
please grant me the favours
which I ask in his name.

(For Gods will for this marriage.)

And you, my powerful patron,
intercede for me before the throne of God.
Draw near to that throne
and do not leave it until you have been heard.
O good saint,
to you I address my feverent prayers;
graciously accept them
and let me experience in some way
the effects of your powerful intercession.

Amen.

Praying for the broken couple’s salvation.

Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be…

Amen.

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done (especially in the lives of the people we pray for in this thread) on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Hello all, thank you for praying for this couple I just thought I’d give a little update with whats been going on.

The groom is on anti-depressants, though I think he has been taking them for a few months, since the seperation.
The bride is currently doing a one year course to be a teacher, but she has fallen behind with her workload and is very stressed out by it. Along with the other obvious stresses in her life she has decided to go and see a consellor. Obviously her getting help is a good thing, but when I look at how broken both their lives are I cannot understand how they are better off seperated. As far as I’m away the divorce is in process so I guess it won’t be long before its official and she has said she wants to have a party to celebrate it coming thorugh. Its just so sad, they are both so lost, please keep praying for them.

God bless.

Hello,
just a little update.
Apparently the divorce papers have come through, so I guess its just a matter of time before its all legal and they’re divorced. I really can’t see a miracle happening to stop it, especially as time is running out, but I hope for the sake of their souls God reaches out to them and they reconsider.
Please keep praying. Thank you all xx

Well, Easter Sunday 4th April should have been their 1st anniversary as a married couple. Now its getting more and more likely that they’ll be divorced by then (can’t believe how quick divorces go through!)
Its highly unlikely any miracle will happen now, but as we all know nothing is impossible with the Lord so lets pray he can touch their hearts and help save their souls.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed ar thou amongst women and Blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
