Things are moving fast... Need prayers

So much has happened in just a few days, that I’m trying to catch my breath.

Colonoscopy showed Crohn’s and GI wants a further Ct Scan, and polyps removed.
Just got a call from her yesterday. She wants to meet with me and another doctor or nurse/dietician for a couple of hours next week?

Saw an ad in the paper. Although it’s not something I’ve ever done before, I have transferable skill sets. Something told me to apply. Without asking my husband or anyone, I made an enquiry. This morning I wrote a cover letter and created a resume and sent it off. Got an answer within a half hour. I have an interview on Monday.

So Sunday I am with my RCIA class (which I teach) for the Rite of Election, Monday, interview, Tuesday - teach an RCIA class. Wednesday - day of rest. Thursday-doc appt.
Oh and in between I have two or three articles to write. (I’m a freelancer) And cook, clean and manage my house full of men (three grown men live in this house with me).

There’s so much going on. Please pray for me that God’s will be done? I want more than anything to just please Him, who is the author of my life. This crazy life.

And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular marlap2, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal marlap2. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into marlap2’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon marlap2 in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

I am truly sorry for the difficulties you’re having, particularly with your colon health. It is beautiful, however, that you continue to love Our Lord and place Him at the center of your life, striving ever to serve Him. That is a wonderful testimony of faith and I’m sure a great example to your family and friends. I pray that all your ills may be healed and all the pressures on you relieved. I also pray that you may be forgiven all your sins, and continue to live a life of faith and offer all your suffering for the forgiveness of the world. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your guardian angel, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. God bless. 🙂

Steer the ship of my life, good Lord, to Your quiet harbour, where I can be safe from the storms of sin and conflict. Show me the course I should take. Renew in me the gift of discernment, so that I can always see the right direction in which I should go.
