5 years are not too long. Many people had done wrong things over 20 years and still apologize to the person when they had a chance.
Snowball thowing is prety common here in Canada tho also do you think that its an oblagation for a christian to do this?

Christian’s obligations are to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. So, yes, it is an obligation. However, if you can’t find the person, then you just can’t. But do so if you have the chance.

If it is common thing to do, what is it so difficult to apologize?

Because if its not nessasary i rather not go out of my way for such a small thing. Also someone said its not nessasary to do this.

You could look up Matthew 5:23-24.
Also, it would not be different after you are a Christian. If you hurt someone, you go to confession, and you still have to apologize other.

We all start over and over again when we fall. Starting over does not mean we ignore what we have done wrong to others. We all have feeling, when someone hurts us, we might wish that they know and be apologized and do not do it again. Besides, letting someone know your fault and apology is one of many loving ways of a Christian.

I think you need to be at peace at the moment. If you still find it very difficult to face the person whom you might have done something wrong to, then you should keep praying. As I mentioned earlier, this is not an easy thing to do and we need God’s graces for that. Keep praying and someday you will be able to do it.

God bless and I pray for you. I am happy that you have allowed God into your life.

Thanks for all the time and advice.

You’re very welcome. I wish I had more precised and clear answer for you, but that was all I could think of. As we were discussing this last night, I too found something that I need to apologize to someone. I know what you felt. It is hard, isn’t it? You and I are on the same boat here.

I prayed and I am ready to talk to the person. This thing happened a year ago, and out of blue I recognized it was my fault. I recognized this during the praying of the Rosary when asking Blessed Virgin Mary to pray for me to know myself better.

I did the talk; now I have to walk the walk. 😃 I’ll let you know how it goes.

The rosary prayer is awesome.

When i was a kid i was new to the neighborhood and me and my friends threw snowballs at a neighbors car in the winter time and they yelled at us. My family didnt talk to them at the time and still dont not becuase of this issue but is it a sin for me not to apolgize to them for doing this? i was not a christian at the time when i did this.
God bless you for these good manners, really this is the true meaning of Jesus words:
“By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?” (Matthew 7:16).

Sorry this is the correct one:

God bless you for these good manners, really this is the true meaning of Jesus words:
“By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.” (Matthew 7:17).
And you are the Good tree…
