Things turning for the worst, don't know if I want to go on

Things have take a terrible turn.

My medical problem has gotten worse and the stress and pain is neverending. Been saying the divine mercy and other prayers but feel so hopeless…
 
In those situations, turn to the Holy Souls in Purgatory and especially St Rita of Cascia. She has always obtained for me, if not relief, at least comfort.

Offer up your pain and suffering for the release of the Holy Souls who depend so much on our prayers. They are truly helpless, yet few people pray for them. I suggest you offer this Novena to them for this intention.

Honor the Holy Souls and you shall never find yourself conquered by misfortune 🙂

And do not forget Little Therese… her roses are powerful encouragements 🙂
Eternal Father, I offer thee the most precious blood of thy Divine Son Jesus,
in union with the masses said throughout the world today,
for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory,
for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the Universal Church,
those in my home and within my family.

I’m in pain and have let my family down. I feel more abandoned and more lost than ever.

Lord, I pray that you will deliver this soul from suffering, yet while suffering remains, please give this your child the strength to offer up and unite all suffering to the sorrowful passion of Christ for the redemption of all.
 
Many tines when I felt awful, I would cry. I couldn’t get up in the morning or face another day.

That is when I realized I had no choice in the matter. I had to go on whether I wanted to or not.

There is no other alternative. As they say, when you mention you hate growing older, that the alternative is worse…you are lucky to be growing older.

The same thing with pain. At least you know you are alive. If you had no pain or anything to feel badly about, it would be a little strange. No one gets out of life without some pain and problems. This world is not a Saturday date.

Wish I had better news for you, but I don’t. When God wants to step in He will. Right now He just wants you to trust Him.

However, our suffering is not wasted in any way. We can offer our suffering for so many intentions, like the conversion of sinners, the Holy Souls suffering in Purgatory, in reparation to our sins… they are precious offerings to God.

I am so sorry for your pain and stress, My heart felt your desperate need and I laid it before our Lord asking Him not to put you past what you can endure as He has promised. Holy Spirit bring consolation and peace to this Your child and give Hope , amen!
