It seems as though there’s usually threads about liturgical abuses, which priest is doing something wrong, what you would want to see change, etc. etc.
How about a happy thread?
Besides the most important fact that God is present/the Eucharist, what makes us proud of the parish we attend? Is it the reverence? Is it the homilies your priest says? Is it the choir? Is it simply the architecture of your Church?
Just thinking that a positive thread would be a good idea.
I’ll go first, I adore my parish because of the priest we have. He’s absolutely wonderful and he’s so easy to talk to. One feels like they can approach him with no problem. I also love the reverency at my Church. When you walk in its so quiet you could hear a pin drop (even when there’s 30 people there). Last but not least, I really like our choir, they work so hard and sound as perfect as a choir possibly could.
