Hi. I have a couple of questions about third class relic. First of all, I have heard conflicting accounts as to if a cloth touched to the tomb of a saint is a third class relic or not. Is it? If so, is there any special handling or care that should be observed? A friend of mine recently went to Rome and gave me a cloth that she had touched to the tomb of a saint. Is this cloth a third class relic or not? If it is, would it be appropriate to keep it in a theca and/or a reliquary? It was given to me in a small plastic bag because that is all she had to keep it in during her travels. Your help is much appreciated! Thank you!
